When I think of home

--

I used to think of Six Flags

And kudzu

And a city lost among the trees

I used to think of long summers

And red clay

Sticky from the heat

I used to think

I’d never leave

No place

I’d rather be

Than giving dollars

To the waterboys

To maybe keep them off the streets

But now when I think of home

All I think about

Is you

Sitting

up under me

Warming

those cold feet
